Answer: Nothing. Blogged.my service is completely free to use.
Answer: As long as you feel your blog will appeal to local blog readers, feel free to ping. Blogs with local interest is always preferred. Commercial blogs will be required to seek consent from Blogged.my before pinging.
Answer: You will need to register for an account with Blogged.my. Add your blog to 'My Blogs' in your account and click on the 'Ping' button whenever you update your blog. Your latest blog entries will be automatically added to our database.
Answer: Blogged.my supports XML-RPC pings. However, you will still need to register your blogs with us first before any pings will be accepted.
Answer: Your blog will be required to provide feeds with valid date and time in order to ping. RSS or Atom feeds is supported.
Answer: If your blog publishing software supports categories, your categories will be read as tags. Some blog publishing software also supports tagging and these will also be used.
Answer: If you have certain pings that you do not wish to show, you can hide them by going to 'My Blogs' and edit the 'My Pings' section.
Answer: Your ping has been flagged by the community for inappropriate material and your ping will no longer be publicly shown.
Answer: You do! The Blogged.my community decides which pings are appropriate, and which is not. Blogged.my members can flag pings which they consider inappropriate at their own discretion.
Answer: If you've found an inappropriate ping, please flag them by clicking on the flag icon. This is only available to registered and logged in members.
Answer: It takes more than one flag to remove a ping. The number of reads that particular ping has received is also considered. So, please flag as soon as possible.
Answer: Bookmarks allows you to keep track of your favourite blogs by creating your personalised 'Fresh Pings'. This can be accessed via the 'Bookmarked Blogs' link on the sidebar. This feature is only available to registered and logged in members.
Answer: Blogs can be bookmarked by clicking on the icon on its pings when browsing through Blogged.my.
Answer: Go to the login page and click the 'Forgot your password?' link. Enter your details on the form on the following page and your password will be e-mailed to you.
Answer: Your password can be changed from the 'Edit Profile' page.
Answer: Your avatar can be changed from the 'Edit Profile' page.
Answer: If you can't see your new avatar, it's probably because the old avatar is still cached in your web browser's memory. If you reload the page your new avatar should show up.
Answer: By using the Remember me feature during login, you don't need to login with your username and password the next time you visit Blogged.my — we will remember you, provided that you do not log out.
We do not recommend you to use this feature when using a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university computer lab, etc.
