Simon Cowell is done with American Idol

So it was just reported that Simon Cowell will leave American Idol after this season. What was his reason although he is being paid $36 Mil for one season of American Idol? He wanted to concentrate on his own show X-Factor. This could be potentially earn him more than $36 Mil.
