WE PARKED OUR CAR AT THE HURRAH'S CASINO... and from there, we walked along the streets of North Lake Lahoe...Along the main road... mainly tourists and resorts...Wanted to try the carriage...But ended up giving her a pat only....Here we are.... Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel...And we could go up to the mountains...
NEXT WE STOPPED AT FALLEN LEAF LAKE... a campground and resort for locals and tourists... it has a narrow road in and out and most of the houses were up on the hills overlooking the lake...The road leading into the woods and dock...A mile away from the town...House on top of the hill....Fir trees all...
ANOTHER ONE MORE STOP AT EMERALD BAY ON THE WAY UP NORTH... There was one point where both lakes were visible on each side.... there isn't any barricades whatsoever on the sides..... the driver got to be REALLY good.... One wrong turn on the steering wheel, it will be "Sayonara" there and then.......
STOPPED AT POPE BEACH ON THE WAY UP TO SOUTH LAKE TAHOE... The beach was breathtaking.. water was so clean and clear... and of course, freezing cold too... hahahaa...The Resthouse was the first place we visited once we stepped out of the car..hahahaha..Snowy mountain from afar....Serenity...CLEAR...
UP AND UP THE CAR ASCENDED THE MOUNTAINS.... getting colder and colder every minute...We stopped halfway... the scenery was breathtaking on both sides of the mountains...The ravine was endless... one of my siblings dare not look down....So did I !!hahahaha...
