Ada beberapa spesis haiwan yang disebut dalam Al Qur'an sepertimana Lebah, dalam Surah An Nahl (Lebah), begitu juga Semut dan burung Hud-Hud dalam surah An Naml (Semut), Ikan Nun (paus) dalam Surah Yunus.. termasuklah juga haiwan Lalat. Dalam surah ke 22, iaituSurah Al Hajjayat 73, Allah S.W.T.
