Seorang rakyat Malaysia adalah antara 48 yang cedera dalam rempuhan yang berlaku ketika sambutan Tahun Baru di kawasan bersejarah The Bund, Shanghai di mana 35 yang lain terbunuh awal hari Khamis. CCTV China melaporkan bahawa 10 lelaki dan 25 perempuan berusia antara 16 dan 36, adalah mangsa yang terkorban.
